So yesterday I had my second dose of benlysta, it has been going well. no major side effects but not improvement yet either.. but its still new so it will take some time. I am a little nervous about the fact that benlysta & rituxan are so alike and I had a really bad reaction to rituxan. my doc is keeping a close eye on me because of that reason.  I hope all goes well cause my other option is cytoxan.  Is anyone else on Benlysta yet?

I'm not but my rheummy told me once my flare is under control, I am a good candidate for it. Not too fond of it being an IV thing but if it helps, who cares! Keep us posted how you are doing on this new drug. Hope it works for you as well! xoxoxox

I wish I were a candidate. I'm going to see if my Mom is. Thanks for posting the two other medications. I never heard of those. Take care and I hope it does work for you, so we can all use Benlysta.
