Well, I have been doing better. The new med that I was put on is doing good. The side affects are okay, the best side affect is that I have hair growing on my head. Can you you believe it?

Here is my list: RLS, HP, UCTD, allergies, asthmia, depression, sleep apnea, raynauds, gout at times and bunions. Also, maybe fibromyalgia...I have been told.

Enjoy what you can today and leave the rest for another day.

Yeah, my glaucoma medicine makes my lashes thicker and longer and makes my eyelids darker like I have eye shadow on them.
The bonuses of illness. :))

What test did you have done to confirm the neuropathy?? I have had multiple tests done for the pain that both my rheumy and neuro think are neuropathy but everything was negative...of course this was before my complements showed up and my ANA was back and forth ...before I was actually considered Lupus/SLE. ...I have had 2 EMG's and a small fiber nerve biopsy on my left leg....I have the burning, warm feeling in my thighs and it spread from there down my legs and then into my hands/arms and up into the back of my neck and shoulder blades/shoulders...I also get tingling in the same areas and have even had it in my face/lips. I also have raynaud's syndrome...any suggestions??

Online I found reference to these tests for neuropathy:

-----------
* Coordination
* Feeling (sensation)
* Reflexes
* Strength
Abnormal findings on any of these tests can indicate that you have a neuropathy.

Other tests used to detect most metabolic neuropathies:
* Blood tests
* Electrical test of the nerves (EMG)
--------------------

My dr listened to the symptoms, and did the coordination, feeling, reflexes and strength tests before diagnosis. He didn't see the need to do extensive/expensive blood or electrical tests.

Hope you feel better soon!

Had all them done. I had the electrical test done first. To rule out other issues, wasn't fun.
