I have found that as some events in life have exacerbated, I have a new 'addition' -- optical issues.

I am working with my physicians and all, but I was wondering if anyone has gone through Optical Migraines and damage to the optical nerve along with the extreme extreme fatigue where I come very close to throwing up -- and having it so bad that in the middle of the night you wake up in a cold sweat and dry heave for hours until finally, after a couple of aspirins, xanax and many many many small sips of water, it all calms down -- but my skin is still on fire and my eye is swollen to almost being closed.

Sorry to bother ya'll....

I have had some intermittent eye involvement and definitely been so fatigued as to be nauseous with sweats, fevers, and the like.

I am fortunate that I haven't had actual optical nerve damage like you are speaking of -- very sorry this is happening to you. I have had some experiences with neurophathgy in arms, legs, hands & feet and have found that with Prednisone I can get the inflammation calmed down without incurring permanent damage.

Prednisone also helped with some migraine-type headaches I'd been having, then both eye & headache issues seemed to resolve completely with Prednisone & Cellcept.

I don't know if you are taking your eyes to the rheumy or an eye dr, but the rhumy may be better equiped to handle it if it's inflammation based.

Hope you feel better soon
