Hey Everyone,

I have three active kids that want to be out and about during their summer break.  Before this year I would be outside with them all summer at the pool and the zoo no worries.  This past week I was out and about with them like normal.  I remembered to put on sunscreen (I have never needed it before) but today I have a small bumpy rash all over my arms, back and legs.  Basically where the sun hit my body.  I think that I will get a big floppy hat to help cover my face and back but what am I supposed to do when we are at the pool?  Do you think I need a better sunscreen?  What kind do you all use?  We can't just stay in the house all the time.  The kids will drive each other and myself crazy:)

Thanks!

There are some older posts that contain lots of products and ideas to help with this - I don't have time right now but I'll try to come back to this later and provide some links.

If you use the search bar in the blue bar at the top of the page - try searching for umbrella, sun clothing, sun products, sun screen, hats, things like that and you might find the posts before I do!

I use a large golf umbrella on the playground.

Lynnwood, I did do a search and found some good info.

I think that I will be changing my sunscreen to something with a high spf and easier on my sensitive skin. Also, I think that I might look into some sun protective clothing too. I can't just not go out with the kids. This stinks.
