I was diagnosed with Lupus 15 yrs ago at the age of 13 when I suddenly had 4 blood clots in one of my legs. My husband and I have decided to have a baby via gestational carrier. Due to my illness and the fact that I have APS (antiphospholipid syndrome) we felt it would be too dangerous for me to carrier a child.

We have just begun the process and have spoken to a fertility clinic. I am currently trying to find information on how eggs are harvested. I am on a blood thinner and am curious if anyone has experience with harvesting their eggs while on a blood thinner. We are aware there in an injectable blood thinner I could take during the process, but I would love to hear about others' experiences.
