Newly diagnosed need advice

I am newly diagnosed with lupus and am still struggling with my meds and daily living. I am not sure if my dr is right for my lupus. He does not believe in disability and says sitting at a desk and sitting at home is the same thing. He may be right but my issue is I cannot seem to find a good rheumy in the Joliet, il area. This week I have a rash all over my legs and I was told to see a dermatologist but I can't find one of those that has after 5 pm appts. I can't just take off from work whenever I want. I only get 3 sick days a year and when u use them in a quarter you get a point, 3 points u r fired. I have used 2 since I have been feeling so sick. Any advice or a dr recommendation in the Will, Dupage or Grundy county IL area? And thanks for listening

It's rough to balance doctors and work. I'm from GA so I don't know any doctors up there, unfortunately.

I'm new to the Lupus juggle myself. I was diagnosed two weeks ago. I'm on a two month vacation while school's out and I'm wondering how this fall will be for me. I was just beginning to feel ill the last couple of months of this school year and I'm feeling worst since then. Sigh...
