hey everyone so im new to this website, im 22 year old female, i went to the doctor about 7 weeks ago with what i thought was a food allergy my GP thought it might be my gallbladder so he did blood work and found a WBC of 19000

ultrasound and abodemen CT showed nothing so he continued to do WBC test for the next 4 weeks with ranges going down to 11,000 then back up to 17,000 he then ordered more blood work to test for autoimmune diseases and such. i should mention that this entire time my biggest compliant was being tired. the blood test showed a neg ANA and neg RF but a sed rate of 42.

my GP then sent me to a rhemney who is waiting until next friday to do more blood work do to the fact that at the time i wasnt having any physical symptoms. since seeing the rheumey three weeks ago I have been very tired running a low grade fever joints have been stiff mainly elbows my hair has been falling out and i have been having air hunger at night(strange?) and my entire back has been killing me. this will last for a couple days and then ill wake up feeling fine.

Also i have a bulging disc in my lower back with arthritis i use to be a ballerina. so thats just from over using my body for a long period of time.

anyone have any ideas what this could?

i have been taking neuertone (anti inflammatory) twice a day on the days when i have been feeling bad these were prescribed by my ortho for my back. anyone know if taking this will affect my sed rate next time i have blood work done?

any feed back would be AMAZING!

hi! Lyss,
I am glad you found us. Seeing a rheumy is a good idea. When I was being diagnosed, it helped me alot to read forum threads, to give me an idea of what to expect when I saw the neuro and rheumatologist. I made notes about questions I needed to ask, and put my concerns into priority order. Don't be too mad about normal test result after normal test result, welcome to our world. As my doc said, we know that with autoimmune disease, symptoms and evidence come and go, so we need to keep looking. Keep us posted,
God knows, even if I don't....
