Hi everybody,

Its been a very very very long time since I posted here as I just grew tired of all my health issues all together. I posted awhile back about all the strange med issues I been having since I started college(which was 5 years ago). Well today I went to my Rhummy and we discused my current issues: chest pain, fatigue, the usual strange pains in my arms, legs, headaches, and HUGE swollen lymphs in my throat and under my arms. He has ordered yet another round of blood work as my ANA went from pos to neg and he also is checking me for vitamin D as last time I had a level of 7.

I have two questions for everyone here 1) How do you feel about Plaquiline? I hate meds but if it can help with the inflamation especially in my lymph nodes as those are painfull it will be worth the risk to me. Also my second question is do any of you have very inflamed and swollen lymph nodes? My Dr says he has never seen ones like these on any of his lupus patients.

I am sure my questions has been asked before but I just wanted to re-introduce myself and get a fresh perspective of things.

Thank you much for taking the time to read my post.

I love plaquenil! It has really helped me. It took six weeks for me to start feeling a difference though.
I get swollen lymph nodes in my neck and sometimes my armpits. It comes and goes with no rhyme or reason.

^ Thank you so much for the reply. Do you find that the use of the  plaquenil helps with the lymph nodes getting swollen?

I have been getting horrible headaches(have one as I type this) and also strange like shooting pains in my abdomen.

They don't seem to be swelling as bad since I started the medicine. I'm swollen some today in fact. A faint knot under my chin. It usually lasts about a day.
I was getting terrible headaches, too. The doctor put me on a daily dose of mobic and it seemed to be less frequent and last only 5-10 minutes. Before I would get one that lasted most of the day.
I don't get stomach pains though.

Well that gives me hope that maybe the medication will help my swelling go down. Even if only a bit I will be happy beacuse right now they are huge!

Thank you so much for your reply I appreciate it :-)
