I'm seeing the opthalmologist tomorrow morning.  My eye is red and swollen, seeing the floater spider, and hurts at times.  I looked at photos of eye diseases and came across uveitis.  It CAN be another form of autoimmune disease, which affects 15 in every 100,000 people. So far, I am betting 1000 as I am already a statistic...being diagnosed with Lupus and having symptoms at age 67.  I would like very much to hear from anyone on this site who has had uveitis or a similar eye issue, who has SLE.  I'm supposed to leave for our transatlantic cruise on Thursday.  That gives us 48 hours to know if we can go or not. I also see the hematologist tomorrow afternoon for my labs.
