Hey! Sorry, I had responded earlier but I guess the post didnt show up. I have done Cytoxan 2 different times. The most recent I had my last infusion Last Wed. Each time it has been through an IV and plan to be there at least half a day. They will give you IV Fluids, IV Zofran (to protect the bladder), IV mesna, then IV Cytoxan, More IV Mesna and will continue to recieve fluids the whole time.
When I did Cytoxan 2 years ago, it was for 8 months once a month. I had low WBC, lost my hair, nausea, fatigue. What are you switching to Cytoxan for? I would personally try cellcept before Cytoxan but not sure why you are going to get it!
What other questions do you have?
Cytoxan, Orencia, Septra, Prednisone, carvedilol, heparin, Eliphos, toresmide, sodium bicarbonate, Vit D 50000 IU weekly
PRN: Ativan, zofran, hydrocodone, Ambien or Ambien CR, Flexeril, Ultram,
If God brings you to it, he will get you through it!!
