I haven't officially diagnosed by my rheumatologist is thinking Lupus and Sjogren's. However all my blood tests are negative. My ANA was weakly positive (1:80) but now it's negative. My ENA (anti-SM/SSA/SSB/dsDNA etc) is negative. My compliment levels are normal, my CRP and ESR are normal. I had a bone scan that showed arthritis in most of my joints. So who knows what's going on!?

My rheumatologist put me on Plaquenil, but I've been having really bad sun sensitivity. I developed solar urticaria, migraines, vomiting, dizziness and then a flare up of my joints and fatigue after being in the sun for 5 minutes. My GP and rheumatologist think it might be because of the Plaquenil and they would 'reconsider' my medication at the next appointment.

I'm a little freaked out that this may mean that they're going to take me off all medications (they were a bit hesitant to try my on Plaquenil because my blood tests are normal). My liver function test has been elevated the past few months (no idea why). I'm just wondering, if 'reconsider' means finding another medication, are there any options that would be ok on my liver? My GP said Methotrexate wouldn't be an option at this time because of it. I also can't go on things like Enbrel, Benlysta, Cellcept etc.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
