well went to the rhummies and she says the ana was negative after 3 years of she didnt do any tests-and says she will see me in 6 months.shouldnt she do blood tests they were from 5 months ago.and my urine tests, iron levels etc, etc.I have heard that being on plaquenil can suppress your ana ,so it will be negative.Plus, she told me to take magnesium and 2 pharmisist said not to take it with immunesuppressant drugs such as plaq.she will not make the diagnosis of lupus but says something is definitley going on.wat do you guys think?

I'd listen to the pharmisist. They know more about drug interactions than some doctors.

Sometimes it takes awhile for the doctor to make a diagnosis. They sample and anylize to see what's going on before they decide.

Maybe magnesium needs to be taken at a different time of day than plaquenil? I've never heard of them contraindicated -- here is a great website for checking drug interactions.
