When Joy was talking about being in Speach Therapy for 4 years as a kid, I remembered something funny with me.  I was in speach therapy from kindergarden to fifth grade. Anyhow heres the story:
I was 8 or 9 years old, and my parents bed was just "tall" enough that I couldn't get on the bed on my own. Saturday ritual, my father and I would watch CHiPs (yesss Eric Estrada the hottie hehe).  I remember one time I ran in and saw my dad sleeping but hey it was time for our show. So I pulled on his blankets (a thing I did to get his attention as a kid) and woke dad up. I tried telling him it was time for CHiPs, but he couldn't understand me. He taught me a few things in sign language because of my speach problems. I signed 1 then pointed to the clock and then signed minute. I ran out of the room down the hall and into the kitchen. Yes, I really did grab a bag of Potato Chips. I ran back to my dad and pulled the blanket again. I pointed to the word "chips" on the bag of chips, pointed at the clock and then pointed at the tv. Dad laughed and said he didn't think it was time yet but he'd check and he turned on the tv. He said "well I guess you are right" and I pulled the blankets again and he looked at me so then I put my arms up and he laughed again and said "ok". He pulled me up on the bed and we watched CHiPs... and then he opened the bag of chips and we munched on them. On a commercial, he got us some soda pop. My mom came in on another commercial, and said "have you guys had breakfast yet?" So dad and I looked at each other then looked straight at my mom and said "YEssssss" in unision. She stared us down and said "what did you guys eat?" We both put our heads down and picked up the bag of chips and showed her. I actually remember mom lecturing dad that he knew better and it wasn't "real" food.  And then she said we had to have a "real" breakfast. I even recall that it was over easy fried eggs and toast with juice.
Sooo who has a funny memory too?
