I have been ill for about 9 years now with many different problems. I had very heavy periods my whole life and about 9 years ago I had a hysterectomy because of constant bleeding and abnormal pap smears Thank God I didnt have cancer. Then had gastric bypass which was a good surgery losing 120 pounds and then I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and had radiation after removal of my thyroid. Then I had a Menengioma (brain tumor) removed which was found from having constant headaches which I still have. I had to have programmable brain shunt put in. I had one coil that the surgeon had to fix and recently found another coil which we are monitoring. I have felt sickly, achy, tired and not feeling 100% myself, not even 50% so I went to a Rheumotologist who ran tests and find that I have a high C Reactive Protein rate of 2.41 and a postive ANA. The 2nd series of blood work showed the same thing. The 3rd set showed my C Reactive Protein rate high but lower the first test at 1.84 but my other autoimmune disease titers were normal. After doing research I found that having a positive ANA can indicate cancer. With already having cancer should I be concerned with my positive ANA. The dr said I don't have lupus but I do have some type of autoimmune disease. I also had 6 weeks of hives throughout my entire body which yesterday was the first day without them. What should I do next? I am on disability but need to find out whats wrong with me. I hate feeling like this. Can someone share some light I what I should do? Thanks!
