Hi, was looking for some advice since this is all new to me its been almost 6 weeks I went to the gyn for a routine check up and I told her some complaints about my health I was expeiencing some very painful leg pain she ordered some labs and I got a postive result for ANA speckled pattern 1:320 had no idea what this was?and on top of that I was significantly anemic 8.9 and to take iron 3x a day I was referred to an internist who did more testing I tested negative for lupus and other auto-immune diseases. I was still encouraged by my GYN doctor to see a Rheumatologist and I did tell her my complaints leg pain, lower back pain, fatigue that is so constant I feel like Im coming down with something minus the high fevers the back of my throat feels a lil swollen for no apparent reason I have foul -smelling urine and urinate frequently. My anemia looks like its being corrected my current number is 11.6 Hemo and Hema 36.1  my rheumatologist says its not lupus she is testing me for vasculitis, due to high blood pressure readings. Do you think I can still have lupus? my internist said it was very unlikely? on some of the info I have read on lupus I have symptoms anemia, eye disease which I have corneal, the Chronic fatigue and the aches and pain. Im praying for answers!! I have always been in good health until now I have three kids at home and its hard to function sometimes. the fatigue is the worst never experienced that before until now:( any advice or information would be appreciated:) Thankyou!!

Check out the links from my signature below. Diagnosing lupus will tell you about the 11 main symptoms of lupus, Lupus Resources will give you more information on ANA numbers & patterns.

Hope you feel better soon!
