Hello all I am new to this site and i've read some of the posting about Fibromyalgia as well as Lupus. I do have Lupus but my PCP is ruling out the Fibromyalgia but so of the signs that I've been having is the pain in my neck, shoulder, knees, swelling of my ankles, as well as my wrist. Could so of these symptoms possible be Fibromyalgia?

but I will admit that I have stop taking my meds and i know that that's bad but I have notice that some of my symptoms has came back. but that newest thing i have going on with me is my voice I do sing in my choir  and i feel like i have fluid in my chest all the time. nono

The symptoms of many diseases overlap - what you mention could be true of several diseases. Often one of the ways a disease, especially among the auto-immune diseases, is diagnosed is by what medication it does or doesn't respond to. Please make sure to give your Dr accurate feedback as to which medications you are or are not taking when each symptoms appears -- otherwise it is unlikely that you will find a valid diagnosis.

Hello,
New to the site.  I have lupus and a short time ago along with many other auto immune diseases was diagnosed with mixed connective tissue disease.  Looking for help in finding a good doctor. Live in Wis and willing to travel.  Not alot of information on MCTD as it is a fairly new disease.  Any help on MCTD or treatments appreciated.
