I'm having issues with my nerves lately. sad
I've been jittery, grumpy, and at times weepy.
Right now I feel like I'm going to explode with the jitters.
I've had a lot of stress on me lately (no job related) and I'm feeling anxiety almost all the time.

I know stress is bad for us, but it keeps coming at me right now.
I'm supposed to see a nuropsychologist next month. I wonder if he could help my problem?

Is nerve issues normal for Lupus?

Yes, that's pretty normal for Lupus -- unknown whether it is Lupus or Lupus medications. Lots of us end up with Xanax prescriptions to combat the 'nerves'. Mine was from my rheumy --

I don't think a neuropsych can prescribe meds, but maybe so.

I'm hoping in the morning to have one straw lifted off my back. I hear back from a job.

I'm not used to having these feelings, I've always been a happy-go-lucky type person. I've always been able to roll with the punches and get back up on my feet fighting. Now I just want to sit in the corner and stay hidden. I'm not giving up, I'm just tired of the battles.

oh, no...tears trying to roll again.....

Hi Joy. I've never been happy go lucky, but have (had) a good sense of humor and always could roll with the punches. Now I take Klonopin (clonazapam). Good luck with the job. Love ya, Butterflake aka Donna

Got some relief today. Some of the load is lifted off. Now to get the rest of the million pounds on my back.

What helps me a lot is celery. There is something in the celery called lutiolin. The spelling is wrong. Just google brain inflammation and celery. The component in celery helps to take away my depression. It works very quickly as well. Just try it. When depressed eat at least 5 stocks of celery. If it doesn't work, I will refund your misery for free. It works for me! Note other greens also have it such as parsley and spinach, but it is very high in celery. This works for me better than prozac. Andrea
