Hi, im a 42yr old female suffering from SLE, APS, Sjogrens, Pernicious Anemia and Fibromalgia. I have recently moved to London, and have no consultant at the moment. The earliest Drs appointment i can get is for the 29th of this month. My problems are as follows:

I am unmedicated at present as my new doctor refuses to prescibe lupus meds until she has spoken to my former Rhuematologist, despite me being stuck in a five week flare up.

I have some unusual lumps appearing in my soft tissues which vary in size, some solid and some fluid like which can be manipulated. These have appeared in my right breast, right armpit, Groin (right side) and two in my lower back, leading to localized backpain and numbness of my legs at times. And have two on my right side.

What could these lumps be? Does anybody have or have suffered similar? Could this be in significance with my five week Lupus flare?

Any advice or help would be much appreciated as it feels like im stuck in limbo!

Thankyou.

Denise.

They might be swollen lyphm nodes. Can you get some Cipro or another antibiotic?

I cannot get anything until my appointment on the 29th, and i suspect i will then have to undergo a further wait to be transferred to a Consultant Rhuematologist. I was just concerned about these lumps/ swellings and wondered if it would be worth a visit to the local hospital in the ED?

I'd go just to get some antibiotics.

probably. it wouldn't hurt to ask.
Tell they your situation of just moving to the country and having lupus. They should get you some help.
