Of course it's possible!!! I can't think of anything I know about
where one disease could/would prohibit you from getting another disease. And quite a few people get the combination.
However, RA is treated by the same rheumy as treats Lupus (a plus!), and can be somewhat identified by a simple antibody test. As I understand it, treatments overlap -- which is a heck of a lot better than 2 diseases where treatment conflicts.
If you believe this is a significant new symptom, I'd schedule a rhemy visit post hast.
