After all these years of having a Positive ANA and RNP only, i now have the following:

Creatinine L
CRP H
Vitamin D very low

I've been on prescription Vitamin D but it is still very low. Dr. put me on 5000 units per day now.

The other two blood tests I'm not sure what they mean since I have never had them be abnormal before.

Can someone explain what they mean?

Thanks,
Mary Ann

Low creatinine is caused by a decrease in muscle mass, due to sickness, age, or weight loss.

CRP being high is caused by inflamation.

Possible causes of a positive CRP test are cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, connective tissue disease, vasculitis, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, pneumococcal pneumonia, rheumatic fever, tuberculosis and pelvic inflammatory disease.

Thanks, Joy. I'm assuming it is just part of the whole MCTD/Lupus condition. Just think is it funny after 7 years something different shows up. I guess that is why I am feeling worse now and had to stop working.

I'm going to send these results in to my private disability insurance to add to my appeal. Hopefully, they will read them.
