Saw doctor who said that I could have a nerve problem as elbow is swollen on inside of left arm. Also could have Carpal tunnel as when she tapped my wrist still get tingling in last 2 fingers.Or I think Cubital. Had mentioned the ulnar nerve. What does this mean?

Do you have Lupus?

I was told I had carpal tunnel back in May. After splinting it and taking predisone for 10 days it went away. I believe it was an attack of lupus in my wrists.

I won't know if I have anything till the end of this month but can anyone tell me what is Lupus never heard of it. All I know 3 months later both wrists but mostly left is really uncomfortable and no injury.
It's eased down a little this week ibuprofen and I don't want to use Tramadol too much. When this first started really bad like if they were burning, waking up at 2-3am and things. I often wonder if I sprained it but as doctor say'sit's been a while now.

Lupus is an autoimmune disease. It attacks your body with inflamation.
Your antibodies go hyper and attack healthy tissue.

Are you splinting your wrists 24/7?

You can ask your doctor to run the ANA blood test on you if you suffer from the symptoms you can find on Lupus.org.

Otherwise it sounds like carpel tunnel syndrome.
