Friends,

I was in an auto accident Sun evening and am still having double vision (and no movement in right leg below the knee). Thus my on-line presence will be limited until I can see again.

If you need a moderator, contact Amy (aimsgirl16 - www.healingwell.com/community/profile.aspx?f=29&m=1933925&p=65060).

Thanks,

Still double - eye dr today said it's okay to only use one eye at a time, that way I can see ok, but tiring. double goes away in am when i'm fresh but not good for more than an hour or so till the eyes need a long rest. says should heal in 6 wks, I'm hoping for much sooner.

right ankle/foot/leg doesn't move, my guess is a nerve injury just like the eye, but see neurologist in am to verify.

fun, fun, but am grateful to be alive - other driver t-boned me

Nine days after concussion and I still have vision issues - eyes are getting better, just not as rapidly as I would like. Unfortunately using the computer seems to make them worse.

Thanks for thinking of me - please continue to help each other as much as possible!

Lynn,

Just saw what happened to you.  Hope you are on the mend.  Car accidents are scary.  I was t boned (at 50 mph) by a drunk teen 2 blocks from home in Jan 1988 and walked away.  Still remember the impact and if I had a passenger he would not have survived.  Car didn't.  I used to race cars and crashed in a dragster at 185 mph and it was nothing like this crash.  I still get nervous at intersections even after almost 25 years.

Get well soon.

Bill
