I took 5mg of melantona (sp?) awhile ago and not sleepy.
I was awake the other night until 4am.
I'm not in pain, just awake...Grrrrrrrrrrr!
I'm going to lay down and read. Maybe I'll get sleepy soon. smurf

Just a FYI...Melatonin is not a good choice for people with lupus. It can cause a flare....
Here is a link from the Mayo clinic. Read number 5.

Thanks, Amy. I knew about the other points in the article, but not the bit about Melatonin!

Why would my Rheumatologist tell me to take Melatonin to sleep and when I mentioned garlic causing flares, she told me I was wrong because it helps support the immune system! I'm just not sure about her...sometimes I feel like she thinks I'm her guinee pig...

My pulmonologist told me to take it. She said it was okay and looked it up.
However, Since I started taking it I've been hit with diarriaha every day.
I didn't have it yesterday...but when I think of it I didn't take the melentonin the night before....hmmmm.

Okay, going to lay off the melentonin. I guess I need to ask for something else. :P
