That's awesome, Joy. I'm so happy for you. It takes a lot of the stress off, huh? I know it did for me.

Have a great weekend.

I just need to budget my last bit of savings to stretch it until the checks start coming in January.
I'm going to sit down and write out checks to pay my bills until they start. Then I can work with what's left over for medicines and doctors. I can eat with my parents and I get to live rent free until the checks start thanks to them. :))
I've got some great parents! Wonderful supporters!

Joy,

Congrats, that will take alot of stress off and help you to feel better.

A suggestion about the bills, call the companies and explain your situation, ask if they can help you until money comes in. They may waive some fees or set up a budget, put off some of the balance. You never know unless you try. I had some financial difficulties and did something similar and when they know that you are making an effort and not going to avoid paying, some companies are willing to work something out to benefit both of you. Who knows, and that will also help you alleviate some more stress.

Have a great weekend.

The hospital will work with me, already paid off car, sent check for car and life insurance and covered for 6 more months.

Not sure about credit cards though. I don't want to have to pay higher ARP rates. Maybe just minimum amount....

Parents will cover the other bills for me until then.

WOOOHOOOO Couchtater!!!
If you call the credit card companies, they will work something out. I had to do that, They looked at my history and I just laid it out on the line and said look if I could I would but this is all I can afford. They worked out a plan with me. It was a stressful call but afterward less stress.
I'm glad you have your parents, I know I get on my parents nerves, but I am very grateful for them.
Things will work out for ya!
