Hi everyone i'm new to this site and just looking for a bit of advise. I'm 34yrs old and had a partial hystorectomy in december 2011 ( my ovaries where saved) and have over the past month started getting horrendous hot flushes and night sweats! i''m also feeling very down and low in mood, tearful and snappy with my family, however i dont know if this is due to the menopause or the normal grieving process ( my father passed away 5 months ago whilst i was caring for him. Alcoholic liver disease :(. ) I'am aware that i will probably go through the menopause sooner than normal due to my hystorectomy just didnt think it would be so soon. Is depression a normal part of the menopause?? thankyou for reading this any advise would be gratefully received x x
