Hello all, I have a question. I have been on celebrex for several months and definitely not complaining about it. I like it but the VA does not carry it and is going to switch me to Mobic. My question is, does Mobic work? I'm throwing this out there since, I know someone on here probably has taken it at one point in time. I'm kind of nervous about this pending switch. Too bad I cannot afford to buy it on my own. cry   Also, do I have to wait to "dry out" from the celebrex to switch to the Mobic?
Thanks

I don't know about the dry out you'd need to ask the pharamacy.
I took mobic for over a year. I was pretty good at handling my basic pains. You take one every 24 hours.
I was taken off of it thanks to me having a mild protein spill. My kidney doctor told me never to take NSAIDs again.

I took mobic and still take mobic and LOVE it. I have been on it for about 4 years now. When I first started taking it I had an upset stomach for a week but it was worth it. I felt some relief immediatly and it actually made things bearable :). I am not familiar with Celebrex but if you need to "dry out" would be a good question for the pharmacist!!!
