Hi hope you are all doing well and having low pain days. I also hope you are all sleeping, unlike me LOL.

My good old friend Benylsta is keeping me up again. I just wanted to pass on and ask for some prayers and positive energy.

Tomorrow, I'll get my second steroid injection into my L5-S1 area, the one I had two weeks ago did nothing for me. I think between the injection and my eye surgery that's what started this horrid flare I'm now in.

I will be going into the hospital on Thursday. It will be kinda odd as I normally go to the Military Medical Center/School of Medicne. However, they couldn't give me the medication that they wanted to try to get rid of my warts.

So, I'll be in the University of Maryland Mecical Center/School of Medicine. I hope things go ok, I'm kinda nervous as all the Docs at the military hospital know me and my health issues.

The dermatology at University of Maryland requested that the Infectious Disase Drs give me IV Cidofovir to attempt to get rid of my warts. The ID Drs and the Medicine Drs will be rounding and handling my case.

The Cidofovir is an antiviral medication commonly used in HIV/AIDS patients. I'll be in the hospital 2-3 days they say IF I don't have issues. The Cidofovir can cause kidney failure, so I'll be watched carefully.

Wishing you all a great rest of the week, and enjoy your weekend. I hope you all have low pain levels, and NO fatigue.

I hope the cidofovir works well for you. I hope you can say "Bye-Bye, Warts!" when all of this is over.

Hi Barbara,
I will definitely be sending you some positive healing thoughts.  It's funny with the Benlysta.  I wasn't having many days of insomnia and now I seem to be having more.  I feel tired at night and then when I go to lay down in my bed, I suddenly become very awake.  I also feel edgy and nervous.  I am not usually like this.  Do you ever experience this?  A big, gentle hug is coming your way all the way from California.

Thanks all,I'm having a nightmare stay at this inter city medical center I want my military medical center sad I'll be here at least till Monday, if they don't manage to kill me by then skull skull

I really vented on Lynnwoods thread on me. I'm not feeling well enough to retype again.

Laura I'm sorry Hun about the insomina I've had it since the very beginning. I met one of the staff dermatologists today and he asked me an interesting question. He wanted to know if I thought my joint pain was worse on the Benylsta. He said he's treated one patient and their joint pain actually got worse.

I've noticed I'm having a harder time walking and I was thinking it was because I had stopped my injectable MTX, now I'm wondering, how about you, any increased joint pain?
