Ask you Dr about
your symptoms, but I don't recommend asking your Dr about
a specific disease or tests. If they don't come up with something, *then* say something like "I was wondering if these symptoms are similar to lupus". Drs can get testy if they think you've already diagnosed yourself.
And note that primary care or general physicians aren't really trained to treat auto-immune diseases, if you do come up with a positive ANA the Dr should give you a referral to a rheumotologist.
