Welcome, Lilly. I'm 44 also and I'm sorry you're feeling so rough.
I'm going to try to explain these results as best I can and I hope I don't get anything wrong, because I'm not a doctor.

Post-means positive
ANA -means the antinuclear antibody
1:320- means the level of antibodies in your body
speckled- means the specific pattern of your antibodies (speckled is found mostly in Lupus, but is found in other autoimmune diseases.)
ifahep2- is the type of test they performed to see if your positive or not for antinuclear antibodies.

Have you discussed these results with your doctor yet? Are you seeing a Rheumatologist? If not you need to see one. I was diagnosed with 1:320 speckled pattern myself over two years ago.
To help your achy joints try heat or ice (whichever makes you feel better).

Don't you just love the feeling in your toes where it feels like someone had just stomped it? (sarcasm) OW!

That was funny! It really does feel like that on the toes. Thank you for reading. You are the first person that I have talked to that has something in common. So were you diagnosed with lupus with the 1:320 post Ana speckled? I do see a rheumatologist. I saw the results when I signed up on line with my records. I have been going every 2 to 3 MONTHS FOR BLOOD WORK. THE office has not called back even after I called a week and a half ago for meaning of results. I guess she is waiting till the next visit in March. I just take 2 tramadol every 6 hours or when needed. I have this awesome plug in massager are home for my feet and legs. Tell me more about your symptoms and diagnosis. I don't know anyone with abnormal symptoms. Even family thinks I make stuff up since I don't swell. I just realized my last post said osteoporosis. I meant diagnosed with osteoarthritis.
thanks

Right now my symptoms are considered moderate. If your organs are involved then it's considered Severe.
I hurt everyday all over. I'm fatigued most of the time. I do get spells of energy but they are short lived. My most painful places are my elbows, wrists, fingers, knees, top of my feet, tips of my toes, shoot.....just say every joint.
I get rashes and fatigue from sunshine, fluorescent lighting, halogen lights, and 3 way light bulbs. My bedroom is lit by LED light ropes. When I'm outside the house I wear special designed clothing with sun protection made in them and a hat.
Right now my kidneys have a slight protein spill from lupus. They are being watched carefully.
I really hate the brain foggy days. I feel like it's a great effort to think and do things. I basically just veg on those days until the fog lifts.

I do love my massager. It's the purcussion kind, but I need to be careful around my tender points from my fibromyalgia. It will make them hurt more.
Long hot showers or soaks in the tub help a lot with the stiffness too.

My family didn't believe me either when I started getting sick. I bought a book about Lupus and had them read it and hoped they'd understand it better.

Well thanks for sharing. I will have to keep you posted on what they end up doanosing me with. Elbows and toes are my worse but I would probably say my feet when they are flared.

Take care and write anytime
