Over the weekend my left eye got really dry, burning but not itchy, looks like I have pink eye but it doesn't feel like pink eye

about the same time the veins on my right hand were swollen and my knuckles hurt - that's since has gone away

I saw my eye doctor today  - she gave me two kinds of eye drops, one for moisture the other for allergies (what she says caused the hemorage) - and sent me on my merry way

If this had ever happened before I might buy her story - yes, I have allergies
If my fingers and hand hadn't acted up at the same time I might believer her explaination
If it weren't starting tonight in my right eye I might be inclined to trust her opinion

My head hurts - My eye hurts - unrelated to the weekend eye adventures, been going on for MONTHS, daily, all day, feels like it's being stabbed - Eye doctor says it's not my eyes, every other doctor says it is - I can't take OTC painkillers - I don't care what is causing which I just want it to stop.

Sorry to hear you are having issues with your eyes.

I have chronic dry eyes that have led to a condition called chronic erosion syndrome of my right eye. The glands on my eye lids are clogged which provides no lubrication for my eyes.

I would get a second opinion and call your Rheumy and let them know what's happening.

Hugs,
Barbara

Looks like it was high blood pressure - they always have to take it twice, telling me to uncross my legs and breath - unfortunately, that isn't how I live my life

It took a five day nose bleed, several trips to Urgent Care and the ER, another pill to take daily, but no more nosebleeds or ruptured vessels in my eye!!
