Hello ladies...I have a question. Does anyone have a rash develop after waxing eyebrows/lip/face? I have waxed since I was 13 (eyebrows) and now am having trouble when I wax. I get these horrible rashes that last up to a week and a half. Not from where hair came out...just where ever the wax actually touched my skin.

I tried to wax my whole face (getting old stinks by the way...hair now grows on face and falls out on head!) and my entire face got this horrible rash and good old butterfly showed up as well. Not sure why this is happening.

So, if anyone has any tips to help this situation, I would greatly appreciate it. I look bad enough with less hair and inability to wear make up. I cannot live with a hairy face. nono

Thanks for reading!!

I swell up in the area and bleed at the places the hair is pulled out so I just take my electric razor and shave with it. I use tweezers for my eyebrows.

I have a mustache and side burns I have to battle too.

If you are taking prednisone it tends to thin the skin (so does aging or estrogen levels decreasing) which results in these types of issues.
