I went to the doctor yesterday for random red dry patches on my face around my eyes and mouth that have gotten worse in the past two days. My doctor wanted to run bloodwork to rule out Lupus but as I sit here this morning I realize I was never asked what medications I am on. I take daily 1 baby asprin on top of my multivitamin as advised by my hematologist years ago when I was pregnant and had several miscarriages. To make a long story short, could this asprin in my bold mess up my ANA results?

I don't think so.

I hope you don't have lupus. It's not the best thing in the world to have.

I would seriously doubt that a baby aspirin could affect those tests in any way.  Aspirin does not have an effect on antibodies produced by your immune system and would not impact ANA.

I still don't have my test results back. The more I research I do on lupus the more nervous I get. There are several symptoms I have had or do have that fit the bill. The most recent as I posted is the facial rash around my eyes and mouth. Days prior to that I had severe pain in both knees for no reason. It lasted all day but now happens every so often. Before all of this a had several days of severe headaches. I also often times find myself forgetting words so much so that I have been noticing people finishing my thoughts/sentences for me. 6 years ago I tested positive but borderline for both Ana and aca as well as mthfr and I am folic acid deficient. I was tested because I was having reoccurring miscarriages. I wasn't diagnosed with anything just told to take baby asprin, Folgard and daily injections of lovenox. I have managed to have 2 healthy babies on this treatment. My ANA was tested this past summer after going through horrible wrist pain but that test came up negative.

So now I wait for my test results completely confused and a little nervous.

Try not to over think it.
Just try to distract yourself until the tests comes back.
Whatever the answer is you will be okay. There is treatment and you'll take life day by day.
Since my diagnosis I've learned to enjoy the moment.
Just breathe....
