I keep finding mystery bruises on my legs. I haven't bumped anything or hit any edges of things. Sometimes I can feel a faint knot there and they are tender.
Is this a normal Lupus thing? confused
All blood tests given to me when I was diagnosed two years ago said I had no clotting or bleeding issues.
My meds for lupus is just gabapentin, tramadol, and plaquenil. I don't take any blood thinners like asprin or warfrin.

Hi Joy,

I do get bruising, but I attribute them to the Prednisone. The fact that they are tender would be a reason to get them checked out.

Joy, I bruise very easily and always have bruises all over my body, especially my forearms and legs. I haven't taken prednisone for a couple of years, but was on it for several years prior to that and I suspect (but don't know) that it's a residual effect of that. My skin has become very thin, albeit the bruising is nothing like it was when I was taking 60 mg of prednisone.
