Hi

I've got SLE and now when the sun starts to comes out I start to feel sick. I know that I am "alergic" to the sun, but I cant stop going outside. I have feber, ain't feeling hungry, my head hurts, tired all the time and people starts to notice that I've got "the butterfly". Now it is like 10 c outside - how will I feel when it´s 30 c?
How do you manage the sunshine? And what are your symphoms? Some tip how to deal whit this?
I need some help, now!

/Nicolina

There is several places on the internet where you can buy sun protective clothes.
I buy all of my clothes through coolibar.com and sungrubbies.com.
I use a hat from them too. It allows me a few extra minutes to enjoy fresh air.
Are you on any special medicines for your lupus?

I cant help you outside but in the house you can buy sun resistant curtains. Don't know if that can help. I don't have sun issues except sensitive eyes. Wish you the best of luck!!!

They also sell sun protective film for your windows. You can see out but the UV light doesn't get in.
