Oh, it is certainly not the "fun-nest" whatever it is. I'm almost certain it's Lupus. The rash, the icy fingers, the petechia... the problem is, my clinic at school doesn't treat chronic pain so I need California aid to get me a doc, then my man's money to pay for pills. Great, right? Well, if it works it works.
One doctor thought the ANA was BS but something is seriously wrong. I don't care is it's Lupus, cancer, or the grim reaper punching me in the face; I just want to know what it is, you know? So I have one month to get a doctor.
I'm on Gabapentin for the nerve pain and it does help, but in LARGE doses (at least 600mg BID). And I take Soma for a muscle relaxer, which as crazy as it sounds, helps my butt which is in constant muscular pain. My shoulders are a bit better too. So I'm pretty happy. I asked for Clonazepam because of the anxiety associated with all this (plus PTSD, etc) but my new doc put me on less Soma and less Klonopin and said that a lot of pain could be from depression, so now I'm on 4 pills, the last of which is Lexipro. I can't believe it works (and this is the first time I've admitted it in public!)
And thanks for your help, couchtater <3
