Hi everyone, I am usually in the UC forum but now new symptoms have
had me thinking that I might also have Lupus.

about 2 weeks ago both my hands swelled up and every joint just ached horribly. I have had really bad fatigue lately, to the point where
I am going to bed at 8:00pm ( I'm up for work by 5:30am) and by the time I get home I have to take a nap because I'm literally exhausted.
Also, I have had awful night sweats the past 4 months or so. I thought it might be hormonal so I put off going to the Dr. until the joint aches started. Now, only one hand aches and I get various other joint aches like in my big toe,or elbows, just random.

My Dr. ordered a chest xray which was normal and he said all my labs
looked ok with the exception that my white blood cell count was 3,000
(guess normal is at least 4500) And my ANA came back positive. Any Ideas? I see Rheumy on Jul.11th

Have you been to the lupus.org website? It has the 11 criterias for lupus posted there. You just need to meet 4 of the 11 to be diagnosed with lupus.

I always crave lots of sleep. I swell up in my hands like you mentioned. The odd random joint pains is one of the joys of lupus and fibromyalgia which I have.

I hope you get a good rheumy who is with all of the latest information and takes good care of you.

Stick around here for any more questions.
