How is everyone doing?
I've been worried about everyone since there was no posts lately.
I'm okay except my fibromyalgia has me hurting so much around my ribs I can't stand wearing my bra. I don't think it's pleursy because I don't hear any rubbing sounds.
I hope everyone's okay.

Hi Joy,
I actually have been feeling better than I have in a long time.  Could be that I have had a relatively stress-free summer....although that is about to change with school starting.  I am already in the throes of planning etc.  I am out of special education this coming year (my choice due to the high level of stress I experienced last school year) and will be responsible for running our Independent Studies program for Community School.  I have done it before and am truly looking forward to the change.  I also seem to be well-maintained on the 10 mg of Prednisone and 200 mg. of Plaquenil, with the occasional Tylenol Arthritis for more severe arthralgia.  My butt still gets kicked when I am not compliant about staying out of the sun...which is difficult for me when the sun shines here!!!  So all in all pretty good, given the year I had last year.  Thanks for checking in!!

Hi Joy. I'm sorry you're in such pain.  When I have pleurisy I never hear a rubbing sound. It just hurts like crazy when I take a deep breath and have a low level of constant pain on either side of my lungs and sometimes my back. I hope your pain meds will help 'cause pleurisy is a bear. For those of you who didn't see on the CP board I ended up in the ER last Thursday. My legs went numb and I was having trouble breathing. My WBC were up but other than that they didn't find anything. They sent me to my PCP. She could not find anything but Saturday night my right leg started burning like it was on fire. I could literally feel the pain moving up my body inch by inch. My PCP upped my Cymbalta and told me to contact my Rhemi. I am waiting to see if I can see her tomorrow. Hope everyone is feeling ok.
