I was lucky and caught her in a comfortable moment.  We chatted about the surgery and her health in general and she seemed in such good spirits.  I even commented on that.  Her voice was clear and upbeat.  I love Barbara very much  and am glad all went pretty well.  No vent!!  Praise God.

Please keep her in your prayers as she recovers.  Her hubby is keeping a close eye on her today and will be watching her this weekend.

She kept telling me how good this forum has been to her and how much you all mean to her.  I'm so happy to hear it.

God bless you all.

Hey Linda:

LOL, great minds think alike. Yes, we just spoke awhile go. It's always so nice to talk to my friends from HW. Linda and I have been talking for years now on the phone. She's a great support to me and I don't call you often enough Linda.

I was saddened to hear that your not doing the best and that the Lyrica isn't healing as much as you hoped. It's great to see you back posting on the forums. I hope that you'll stay around for a bit. You're always in my prayers and you I'm here for you anytime you need me.

Give those wonderful granddaughters a huge kiss and hugs from Auntie Barbara. Tell hubby I said hello and I hope that you both have a good weekend. I'll call you later in the week. Take care of yourself and God Bless.

Hugs,
Barbara

Hey Barb! And thanks, Linda!

Just dropped into "Lupus" to see if there was new word on my friend Barb, and there it is, both of you at the same time.

Barb, Sounds like you are back on the mend again, which is a great thing for me to read this evening.

Hope you continue to get over this last surgery, and hoping more that it does some good for you.

Don't overdo yourself, give yourself plenty of time to re-coop from all you have been through.

Been thinking about you today.

Thanks, Linda, for starting this thread.

Hi David and Diane:

David thanks for stopping by and checking up on me. I'm hanging in there, I've had a tough day today, I over did it I think. We were trying to get things ready for a new bed that will be delivered soon we hope. We purchased a memory foam bed almost 1 year ago this November. At first it was just the right amount of firmness, and the company gives you 120 days to try it out. If you don't like it you can exchange it for something different from their choices.

about 3 weeks ago Bill mentioned that he was VERY disappointed that we purchased this bed and he'd never buy another one. We did go to the mall and checked out a Sleep Number Bed, very comfortable, but big bucks, considering we'd just spent almost $2,400.00 last November on this bed. We decided to just tough it out for now. I looked up the company that makes the bed we bought and it directed me to contact who I bought it from. I did and the Salesperson said she'd totally replace the bed with a different type sold by the same company. I'm now expecting a different bed to be delivered this week, so loads of cleaning and vacuuming this weekend.

I'm totally wiped out and am hurting a lot tonight. I'm sorry that you were hurting so bad today too. It seems that you and I can't catch a break when it comes to managing our pain levels. I'm praying that you'll be able to enjoy your cruise and have very little pain and can manage just fine on the ship. I think of you daily all thru out the day. Hang in there David your pain buddy is here if you need her.

Diane sorry to hear about the Fibro Fog, boy do I understand that one, I get the lupus fog and the fibro fog often. I hope it clears up soon for you. I hope that you're pain levels have been coming down. Try to rest so that your fog goes away and you begin to feel better. As always you're in my prayers daily.

Hugs,
Barbara
