I have been really drained for the past week, but we have been moving, so I thought it was just that. Even with everything going on I feel I've had adequate rest and plenty of help.

I just finished antibiotics for a uti. I developed a rash on my ankle and was afraid it might be from a tick bite (I went exploring our property line with my son), so I went to the doc. He did not think it was from a tick, but gave me hydrocortisone cream to treat it. I had also experienced a few broken blood vessels in my palms and showed them to him. I was sitting still reading with my children the first time it happened, and was in the shower the second time.

Anyway, he drew lots of blood and sent me home. He said to check in with his nurse on Monday.

I now have purple spots on my palms and scattered along my body randomly. The rash got worse from the hydrocortisone, so I used nystatin on it today and it's better. That scares me because that means it's fungal. On the outside of my ankle where there is no moisture. In the nursing world that means my immune system is not what it should be.

Waiting to hear back about my blood work, but racking my brain! What does this mean? I am so tired it's as though breathing is more than I can manage!

Someone please help me...

We're not doctors here, but I did have a very red rash on my legs when I was first diagnosed.

You're going to have to be patient until the results come back. Worry is not going to change anything except make you feel worse.

Try to limit your UV rays and see if this helps the energy levels any.

Hi I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. Like Joy said we aren't doctors here and can't tell you what you have.

You didn't mention do you have lupus? If you have lupus your immune system isn't normally working right anyway. I'm guessing it's possible that you were bitten by something, but I'm not positive on that.

I've had lupus for 26 years and I know sometimes that when I think I'm getting enough rest I'm truly not. It's possible that with your move and all you didn't get enough rest and it's brought your body way down and is causing all the fatigue you're having.

Until you can get the results from your doctor, I'd try to rest, stay out of the sun, stay hydrated and keep your stress at a minimum. Hopefully, your doctor will be able to give you some answers real soon.

Take care and please let us know how you're doing when you can.

Yes, I have lupus. I was hoping someone would tell me they have these problems too, I guess. I am also a celiac, and sometimes a flare of one triggers the other. It's hard to tell sometimes which one is causing problems. I am not taking anything for my lupus. Doc and I decided to treat a flare at a time because steroids are so hard for me to handle with all the damage from celiac. Now we are considering Plaquenil sp? Doc mentioned that hashimotos might be causing this new wave of activity. Would explain a lot. Just have to wait, I guess. I just get so tired of being sick all the time! I'm 33 and I feel like an 80 year old!

I will take your advice. Thank you both!
