Hi,

I need advice. I just got a call from my hematologist's nurse saying that she's putting me on Levothyroxine because my blood work was abnormal. All she told me was that my TSH was 2.0, my 3T4 was 1.21, my 3t3 was 3.2, my TPO was greater than 6 and my vitamin D was low.

I have been miserable. I barely sleep at night, I have such severe pain in my knee I can't walk on it without a crutch. My Orthopedic gave me a brace, I've been in pt for 7 weeks with no results. He says I have OA, but only level 2-3. I had 3 blood vessels on my hand spontaneously burst in the past 6 months. I have a butterfly rash on my face that they say is Rosacea, my body aches, my hips, knees, neck, I've been fatigued. My TMJ is out of control. I just had a Chalazeon removed. I've had migraines since 18yrs old but have been to the ER with severe ones. The list goes on. It seems like some kind of flare-up to me!!

Thoughts anyone???!!!

If you think you have lupus you need to ask the doctor to test you for it.
Thyroid problems can make you achy and feel bad. Also low vitamin D will cause joint pain.
Give yourself about two months on the meds and see if you're better. If not then push to see a rhuemy.
Be sure to read lupus.org and lupus.com.

They removed it?! Rats! They had some great things there.
I went then just now and it's gone and there's something about buying or renting the site. Shoot!
