I am so sorry for your loss, I can't imagine how awful that must be.

It sounds as though they are covering the bases and trying to determine what went wrong and if they can prevent it in the future. After letting your system get back to normal, they will do these blood tests and look at them in conjunction with your symptoms (as the symptoms present in December), to see if there might be a course of treatment that might help you.

Please don't worry about something (lupus) that you haven't been diagnosed with yet. I don't think the symptoms you've mentioned indicate lupus, but we aren't doctors and it sounds as though your docs have it under control. If you are interested in finding out more about lupus you can read at - but remember that lupus can be controlled and can be minor.

Best wishes,

I'm so sorry for you loss, there's nothing worse than losing your child, gentle (((hugs))) for you.

I have to agree with Lynnwood and Joy. It sounds to me that your doctors are trying to figure things out and are checking all the bases. I'm no doctor by any means, but I've had lupus for 26 years now and a pretty bad case at that. What you've described really doesn't sound like lupus to me either.

Please try to relax about the whole lupus thing and not worry about it now. Try to let yourself heal from you loss of your baby. Get plenty of rest and make sure that you eat a well balanced diet. Take care and keep up posted on how you're doing and what's happening with the lupus tests.
