Yeah, I'm back. First let me say that inflammation of the bladder also causes blood and yes a "culture" of the urine to determine the organism and a "sensitivity" to determine what antibiotic will kill that organism are good tests to have for recurrent infections.
Second, I think everyone who has been diagnosed with lupus should own a copy of "The Lupus Book" by Dr. Daniel Wallace. You can get it on Amazon. Several of us on the forum own copies, but it currently doesn't help me because I forgot where I put it and my lupus fog is pea soup thick.
A word of encouragement? The longer you have lupus the better you get to know your body and that sometimes makes this disease a bit easier.
