I recently got burned on my face during an office visit. I didn't get any lesions or anything but the area is burning every time light hits it now. Will the skin in that area ever heal?

I can't see any visible damage to it but it burns. I'm hoping one day it will heal and not burn forever. It didn't burn while it was happening, it was the next day it started burning.

Thanks for any knowledge or experience you have had with this.
