I just went to the urologist thinking I had bladder and urethra issues only to learn that they are caused by yet another autoimmune disease, lichen sclerosis, which causes a breakdown and fusing of vulvar and vaginal tissue. I know you guys may be the only ones who understand how depressing it is to add yet another symptom to our already long lists. I'm weary of dealing with all this. I want to crawl into a fetal position and have a good cry. I will start on Clobetasol cream (for the lichen) and Estrace (to rebuild the skin down there). I go back in 6 weeks to see if it works.

I understand! It seems like autoimmune problems often keep hitting us on the head over and over, and you sure have your share! I hope the treatments help.
