Test came back good. Everyone says that's good news, but I don't feel that way.

These "specialists" have been a waste of my time & money. The rhuemy was like the endo. Real stand off ish, and kind of figity. Like they klnow something but aren't telling me. He starts off saying something was high but I couldn't understand what he said. He said the test came back normal. You don't have lupus or scleroderma. I asked what about my ANA & the lymphoma. He denied that he did those tests. I saw ANA on my lab paper & quest diagnostics told me he was running a test for lymphoma! I asked what he said was high & he figitly said "Nothing, no nothing everythis fine" he said it real fast too and had a nervouse sound in his voice.

It wasn't until I asked what's next when he said/confirmed I do have fibro. He said there's no more tests he can do. I said but I know there's something wrong. Even with the medication for hypothyroidism I'm still having awful symptoms. He said there's nothing he can do for me everythings fine come back if you need us, bye.

I don't know where to turn to. My rheumys not going to do anything else for me. My endo wont do anymore tests even test that are in his field. He's only treating hypothyroidism. He wont do an ultra sound on my throat to check for nodules. I know somethings wrong. Even with the medication for hypo I'm still feeling weak, haveing symptoms.

Everyone says its good news nothing came back bad. No it's not good news. Something IS still wrong with me, I didn't get any answers as to what else is causing me problems, the specialists aren't going to test for anything else, I don't know what more my primary can do for me. I am so upset about this! What do I do now? I guess maybe go back to my primary....

Get your test results and have your primary look at them.
Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Glaucoma, Asthma, Hypothyriodism, Sleep Apnea, OA, Depression, Allergies, and benign familia tremors

When life throws you lemons....
Pick them up and throw them right back at them! :))

I was able to get a copy of most of the test results. I had to fight to get them though. The dr claimed he lost them (the endo) the receptions looked around, couldn't find them. She searched the computer for a good 15 minutes trying to find where my results were put, she finally found them. She said they were in an odd place and doesn't understand why they were put there. I couldn't get the results of the ANA/lymphoma ones because the rhuemy claimed he never did those test. But I know he did, the lab place told me that he did. I think I'm going to try calling quest diagnostics again and ask them what showed up on those tests. I just want to give up.
