The neuropathy I've experienced with Lupus has gone away when my rheumy has increased my anti-inflammatory medications. Have you talked with your Dr as to why this is happening and what can be done about it?

I had what sounds to be the same neuropathy in my legs as well. It was an incredible burning pain in both thighs similar to the feeling of running your freezing cold hands under warm water. My doctor prescribed Neurontin for it. It relieved the pain considerably. I hope you get some relief from it soon!
SLE Lupus, Epilepsy, Spinal Stenosis
400mg Plaquenil, 1500mg Keppra, 900mg Neurontin, 10mg Medrol, , 2000mg Vitamin D, 1200mg Calcium, Ambiem, Vicodin as needed.

Make the best of every day.. You never know what tomorrow will bring you!

I'm a newbie here, but have plenty of experience with the neuropathy in the legs thing. In my case, it usually is relieved by taking regular doses of B12 and vitamin D. It took me a few years to figure it out, because I have malabsorption issues (thanks to RA, Lupus, IBS, Fibro, etc.) but every time my tests showed my vitamin levels were low, my legs also were numb. Backaches were common, too. When I upped my D and B intake, the neuropathy went away. Just something to consider...
