I don't know if many of you remember crazykitty (Robin) who posted here some back in January and Feburary. She was a frequent poster in fibromyalgia who also had lupus.
She had a lung removed from cancer over a year ago and it came back in March this year in the other lung.
Well, she passed on on the Saturday before Mother's Day.
I thought I would relay the message over here since she was a lupie too and posted here a few times.
Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Glaucoma, Asthma, Hypothyriodism, Sleep Apnea, OA, Depression, Allergies, and benign familia tremors

Thanks for sharing, Joy. I did not know her, but as Lynnwood said, what a shame.

Aw, Joy, I'm sorry. I posted about Robin' s passing in our moderator forum and mentioned that I knew she posted in this forum and possibly other forums too since she had so many illnesses, but I guess the lupus mods missed it. I should have posted here, also. Robin certainly deserved that mention.

For those who didn't remember Robin, she was one of the most positive spirits I have ever encountered. We loved her a lot in fibro and no matter what was thrown her way, she accepted it and tried so hard to get better while having the most positive attitude. She would joke about some of the changes in her life and she also wrote wonderful poetry. She is sorely missed. Below is one of her poems.

At the end of the day, I am still me
I choose who I am, who I want to be

I choose to be happy, caring and kind
I want to be strong, both in body and mind
I pray with God's help, these things I will find

Even if my body isn't strong physically
At the end of the day, I know I'm still me

Whatever life chooses to send
I'm blessed to have my fibro friends

I too remember her posts. Plus we discussed our cancers and how we felt about them. It's a real shame that she passed away. She'll be greatly missed.

When thinking of her though, don't be sad, as here towards the ends of her life she was in a lot of pain. She no longer is suffering in pain or with any more diseases.

God Speed Robin may you rest in peace.
