Hello All--

Thought I'd start a new post, since I have several updates.

Boohoo that they don't give more than a local anesthesia, since I've looked at a YouTube video of the biopsy and it's YUCKOLA!

I also saw a dermatologist at the Billings Clinic. (I really like him!) He said that eight of my toes have chronic Chilblains, which I kinda thought. And said that they're getting better now because of the warmer weather, although they are still blue/purple and scaly, but not inflamed. . . . Also said that I most likely have Raynaud's in my hands to accompany my Chilblains. A lovely pair. ;)

He told me that I have female Alopecia, of which I was aware, hence the short, short haircut and lightened hair color, which seems to hide the hair loss better!

And, that I have two precancerous spots that he's going to freeze (one on top of my head and one above my eyebrow).

AND, that I have a patch of Vitiligo along my jaw, with much more hyperpigmentation in other areas.

SO, after I have my biopsy done, he will freeze the spots--and I'll be a real beauty--with a shaved head around the temple area, some Frankenstein stitches (and probably a cool bandage!), and a couple of burns from the freezing. Maybe I can do a casting call for "The Walking Dead." HA

And my rheumatologist blood work will be done on Tuesday--the only day the clinic does the ANA stuff.

Fun week! (But, thinking much, much more about Barbara that ANYTHING I could possibly be dreading.)

Thanks to all of you--I feel very fortunate to have found my HW family!

Wow! I hope you have a nice hat or scarf to cover up with.
Don't worry about the cancers being frozen too much. My father has had it done many times. You'll get a nice red blister from it.
Best of luck.

I'm glad you like your dermatologist! I think I would take an EMG any day over all that, sounds like it sucks :(

If I was closer I would go with ya, it's nice to have a support when going through all that poking and prodding.

My acupuncturist has a client with Alopecia who is having some pretty incredible growth back from acupuncture. If it's started early on it can be really helpful. I've had acupuncture in my head and face and it isn't bad at all, believe it or not!

I sincerely doubt you would qualify for a zombie walk in role on the walking dead lol! My husband watches that show, it scares the (bad word) out of me. I have an irrational fear of zombies hahaha, like a super bad have to check for them in my closet fear! Ugh, zombies *shudder*..

Joy, I noticed a vintage clothing shop while I was driving to my hotel, here in Billings. Got out of the car and peered through the windows--big shop and lots of cool stuff. I saw some hats that I'd like to check out tomorrow before I head home. :) We shall see. . . .
Thanks so much for the good wishes!!!

Joie, you made me go "awwww" with your offer to come to Billings with me if you lived closer. Thank you. Yesterday, I decided to call my daughter and let her know some things that are going on with me, since I don't have to worry about interrupting her wedding thoughts any more! ;) I knew she would NOT be happy with me if I had anything done and didn't let her know. She was ready to fly out to be with me today, but I said I'd prefer to see her for a good time or maybe if another situation arises.

And, my husband feels pretty rotten about not being here. He's got so much to take care of at work and Mondays are very, very busy . . . AND, I need him to take care of our critters! ;) He said he'd drive me up today, drop me off, drive back home--and drive back up tomorrow after work to pick me up. No way! But much appreciated.

I can't really see myself getting acupuncture, but I'd have to take your word for it . . . that it isn't bad at all. . . . I'm going to start up with some biotin (I think Joy mentioned that), and maybe, just maybe I'll entertain the acupuncture idea, but wait! No one offers that service in my little burg. (saved!) ;)

Funny, funny about your closet zombies. What about the ones under the bed? mwahahahaha

I'll let you know how tomorrow goes--might be Tuesday, though.
