my rheumatologist report could this be lupus?

ANA 1:16 nucleolar pattern
HLA b 27 gene
RA factor 15 iu/ml
absolute netrophils were elevated
WBC count was 14.7 (normal 3-11)

all antibiodies tested for sjorgerns, lupus, slecroderma, etc were neg

my story is that when i was in college i contracted MONO followed immediately after by herpes simplex 1 (mouth sore kind) I never saw a doctor until i had been very ill with a low grade fever and chronic cough for 1.5 months. I was a super athlete at the time (triathlete and swimmer as well as played volleyball)

finally i saw doc tested positive for mono and tried to take his advice to "rest"
after resting i did get better but developed chronic fatigue for several months. I also developed recurring feelings of depersonalization and was told i had epilepsy . I began to get mouth sores and ulcers every 1-3 months

i picked up swimming because my times fell in running after becoming ill. i became good at it but suffered chronic sinus infections atleast 4-5 times per year. i always seemed to be ill but i would always recover eventually and go back to my active lifestyle. i continued to suffer frequent outbreaks of the herpes virus on my lips on inside of my mouth the epilepsy continued despite my medication,.

a few years later i moved in with a awful room mate who had a dog with fleas and one tick i had smashed. i remember the flea bites on me and i became very itchy for several weeks even after we had gotten rid of all fleas. i was itchy and feeling ill. i tested neg for lyme on western blot which i took 2 years after this incident i had only one reactive band and the test read negative

my chronic illness started 2 years ago and 5 years after my sinus issues and seizure disorder with upper back pain and muscle spasms as well as shoulder pain and tendonitis. i had one shoulder repaired. i was told i strained by back as a swimmer. well knots started forming in my neck and shoulders the pain never went away it moved to by back and hips. as of now i have extreme stiffness in my upper back, neck, hips and tendonitis in all of my joints. all joints are a bit swollen from inflamed tendons and make popping noises. to get my point across even my jaw has tendonitis and pops! i have since given up swimming as of 2 years ago and all sports.

the pain is excrutiating i have also pain along the fascia of my bones, muscle numbing in my hands and feet, muscle twitching in my legs and buttocks. i have frequent ear stuffiness, sore throat, headaches, and dry eyes but mostly muscle and joint pain.

i dont know whats wrong with me. can you have lupus without the anti body? i have been in chronic pain for 2 years now and still no answers.

my rheumatologist was speculating spondylitis and i have been given prednisone with no relief whatsoever. in fact after starting prednisone i have been very sick to my stomach

You can have lupus without the antibody.
Have you read the site There is a list that rheumatologists go by to diagnose lupus. There is 11 items on the list but you only need to have four of them, positive ANA is one of the 11.

If you're not going to a rheumatologist then you need to be checked out by one. If your doctor is basing your diagnosis only by bloodwork them you need to see a different rheumy.
Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Glaucoma, Asthma, Hypothyriodism, Sleep Apnea, OA, Depression, Allergies, and benign familia tremors

When life throws you lemons....
Pick them up and throw them right back at them! :))
