Hang in there, honey. Your life is not over it's just changed.
The first thing I suggest is find a psychologist who deals with chronic illness patients. They are wonderful in helping you understand the moods you're going through as you adjust to your new life. I've been seeing one since I was diagnosed.
A wonderful site to read is lupus.org and come here for support and questions you have. We're not doctors but someone here might have experinced the same thing.
Are you sun sensitive? You might want to eliminate things that emit UV light in your life. Fluorescent lighting, CF bulbs, halogen lights, and sunlight all can make many of us ill. I wear special clothing for leaving the house that protect me from UV rays. I buy them at coolibar.com, sungrubbies.com, and Columbia clothing.
What medications are you on?
I hope you stick around here for support.
Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Glaucoma, Asthma, Hypothyriodism, Sleep Apnea, OA, Depression, Allergies, and benign familia tremors
When life throws you lemons....
Pick them up and throw them right back at them! :))
